To Secure the Blessings of Liberty
Comparative Party Platforms

In order to make a rational choice of political parties, one should study the published party platforms of all national political parties.  In the cases of the two predominant parties, Republican and Democratic, one should carefully consider the performance in office of their elected officials.  One often finds that many elected officials write, promote, support, and vote for passage of laws which are contrary to their respective party platforms.  Far too many laws are passed which are completely repugnant to the United States Constitution and/or to the Pennsylvania State Constitution

Remember that the constitutions are the Highest law of the nation and the states, respectively.

Please use the links below to access the party platforms of these political parties.  You may wish to download and save them to your computer, so that you can print and/or read them at your leisure.

For new computer users, exact commands vary among different browser programs, but in general you can right-click on a link, and find a command like "Save Link As..." which will open a dialogue to let you choose where to save the platform file on your computer.

Take your time to study the following platforms.  Coming soon: On the next pages, we will begin a discussion of the similarities and differences between them.
