- Taxes and Spending -

The State Government receives more than enough revenue from Sales and Excise taxes to perform all of the functions which it is Constitutionally empowered to perform.  With careful oversight of spending, the state income and estate taxes can be eliminated.

Business and Corporation taxes must be uniform throughout the state, and low enough to be a minor burden.  Subsidies, "Corporate Welfare" and special breaks for specific companies or industries must be ended as they are unconstitutional, immoral, and a major cause of political corruption.

One example of wasteful spending that could be eliminated is the ineffective Economic Development grant program.  These grants result only in rewards for major campaign contributors, and add nothing to the State's economy.

Imagine how much new business could be attracted to Pennsylvania if we could honestly advertise: "Come to Pennsylvania - our business taxes are low, and we won't subsidize your competition with your tax revenue."
